Chewsy ("the app") helps you and your group pick a restaurant by swiping. This policy explains what the app collects and why.
With your permission, the app uses your device location once per search to find restaurants near you. Location is sent to our restaurant-search service to run that search and is not stored, profiled, or linked to your identity. You can instead type an address and never grant location access.
Restaurant results, photos, ratings, and reviews are provided by Google Places and OpenStreetMap. Your search coordinates are shared with these services to return results.
We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand aggregate usage (for example, how many searches or swipes happen). This includes anonymized device information and app-interaction events. We do not sell personal data.
The app shows ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers and ad-interaction data to serve and measure ads as described in Google's advertising policies. The app does not request cross-app tracking permission.
Player names entered in the app stay on your device. Nothing you swipe is shared publicly. Questions or deletion requests: contact@firesidewifi.com.
